Hi, I'm Divyanshi

I'm a Content Creator, Business Strategist, and Founder of Icon Divyanshi — based in India, building in public, and reaching 84.2K people every month with content that is real, honest, and built from lived experience.

My story isn't polished. I grew up through financial hardship, lost my father right before my board exams, and found my path through digital skills when most people would have given up. That background is what makes everything I create different — it's not theory. It's life.

Where It Started

Financial Struggle — and a Story My Father Told Me

My family went through real financial hardship. During that time, my father once told me about someone my age who was earning ₹10,000 in a single week — online. I never forgot that. That was the first time I believed it was possible for me too.

2022 — The Search

I Started Looking. Months of Nothing.

I spent all of 2022 searching for a real way to build something online. Tried things. Failed. Got nowhere. But I didn't stop, because I had no other option I believed in.

January 2023 — The Loss

I Lost My Father. One Month Before Board Exams.

The hardest chapter of my life. But inside that grief, something became very clear: I was going to build what he believed I could. His last words to me were about giving jobs to others — not waiting for the government to give one to me. I carry that every single day.

October 2023 — The Decision

Found the Path. Invested in Myself Anyway.

I found a platform that made sense. I had very little money. But with whatever I had — and with my mother's trust — I invested in myself for the first time. That decision is the reason you're reading this right now.

My Story

I Didn't Start This Because
I Wanted To. I Had No Choice.

The Weight We Carried

My family was going through financial hardship. We didn't have much — and the world around us made sure we felt it. People question you when you're struggling. Some judge. Some look at you differently.

My father shielded me from most of it. But I felt it. Every single day. I knew things were hard even when no one said it out loud. That silence — that's what pushed me.

The Moment Something Woke Up

In 2022, my father told me about a boy my age earning ₹10,000 in a single week — from the internet. That one sentence changed everything. I didn't sleep that night.

A few months later I started searching seriously. Blogging. Freelancing. Every platform I could find. I tried things that didn't work. I followed advice that went nowhere. Months of trying. Nothing gave results. I didn't know what I was doing wrong. But I refused to stop — because something inside me already knew this path existed. I just hadn't found the right door yet.

The Hardest Month of My Life

January 2023 — one month before my board exams — I lost my father. The person who first believed I could do something different. Gone.

What kept coming back was a conversation from years before. I was scared the way every student gets scared — UPSC, doctor, engineer, government job. One evening I asked him:

"Daddy — what if I can't get a government job? What if nothing works out?"

I was expecting him to get angry. Instead, he laughed. And then he said:

"Who is the government to give you a job? You will give jobs."

I laughed it off at the time. I understand now — he knew exactly who I was going to become. I carry that every single day.

The Person Behind All of This

My father was protective about one thing — being online. He was afraid of hate comments, of what people would say. That fear came from love. I understood it even then.

My mother was the complete opposite. Her belief was simple — you may get hate online, you may get love. Both are okay. She never stopped me. She trusted me when nobody else did — when there was no money, when nothing was certain, when it all looked like a risk.

If she wasn't there, I wouldn't be here. This brand is as much hers as it is mine. Every post I make, every step I take — she is somewhere in it.

The Day I Chose Myself

In October 2023, I found a real platform — one that actually made sense. I barely had the money. But I saved what I could, arranged it somehow, and invested in myself for the very first time.

That was the moment everything shifted. Not because it was easy — it wasn't. But because for the first time, I had direction. I had a system. I had something to build on. That decision is why this website exists. That decision is why you are reading this right now.

And if you are sitting on a decision like that — unsure, afraid, waiting — I want you to know: that moment of choosing yourself is the only thing that separates where you are from where you want to be.

Why "Icon" Divyanshi?

The name "Icon" isn't ego. It's a direction. It's the version of myself I'm building toward — someone who stands for something real, who proves that a difficult start is not the end of the story.

I'm not there yet. But I'm building — in public, honestly, one step at a time. And if something in this story felt familiar to you — if you saw yourself somewhere in these lines — then you already know why I do what I do.

The Decision

I Had No Money.
I Invested Anyway.

When I found the platform in October 2023, I was genuinely excited for the first time in a long time. But I had a problem. We were still struggling financially. There was no spare money just sitting there waiting for me to use it.

I had two choices. Wait until I had money — which, honestly, felt like waiting forever. Or find a way. I saved whatever little I could. I spoke to my mom. I arranged it. And I took the leap.

If I hadn't done that, you wouldn't be reading this right now. There would be no Icon Divyanshi. No website. No story. Just another person who said "someday."

"If you keep saying 'I'll start when I have money' — you will be in the exact same place five years from now. Because nothing truly valuable is free. And the most important investment you will ever make is in yourself."

I'm not telling you to be reckless. I'm telling you: to start something, you have to bet on yourself first. The people who never invest in themselves never move. That's not pessimism — it's just the truth.

To You, Whose Parents Don't Understand Yet

If your parents are not by your side right now — if they're telling you not to do this — I want you to hear something important.

They are not against you. They are afraid for you. There is a difference.

Your parents did not grow up in the same digital era, the same AI era, the same world that you're walking into. They haven't seen this work with their own eyes. They have questions. They have fears. And those fears come from love — not from wanting to hold you back.

There is a generational gap — and it is your job to bridge it. Whether you make them believe before you show results, or whether you show results first and let those speak — that choice is yours. But don't let their fear become your cage.

Do I need any prior experience or knowledge?

Zero. Genuinely. I start with the assumption that you're starting from scratch. If you have some existing knowledge, great — we'll build on it.

Is a laptop necessary, or can I do this on my phone?

A phone is enough to get started. Most of what I teach — content creation, building your presence, earning online — can be done entirely from your smartphone. A laptop helps as you grow, but it is NOT a requirement to begin.

Do I need a specific degree or educational qualification?

No degree required. None at all. The digital world doesn't ask for your marksheet — it rewards consistency, skills, and execution. I've seen 12th pass students out-earn MBA graduates here. Your qualification is your commitment, nothing else.

Is this work from home or work from office?

100% work from home — or wherever you are. Your bedroom, a café, your hometown. There's no office, no fixed location, no commute. That's one of the biggest reasons people choose this path. You build it from wherever life has you right now.

Do I need to show my face online?

No — showing your face is not mandatory. There are people building significant income without ever appearing on camera. That said, if you're comfortable showing up, it does build trust faster. I'll help you figure out the approach that works for your comfort level.

Is there any cost involved?

Starting the conversation is completely free. Some tools or products I recommend may have their own costs — but I'll always tell you upfront, and I'll never recommend something I don't genuinely believe is worth it.
